Welcome to Mrs. B's class website. I'm excited to share this with you and provide the latest and greatest information on what these burrowing owls have been up to.
This week we are focusing on the sight word "like", letter "Ss", and letter sound /s/.

We have also been exploring our 5 senses. We took a trip to our school's picnic area and used our eyes to see all of the neat things around us. The students used a pencil and paper to jot down 3 things they saw with their eyes. Here are a few things we observed:
beehive
butterfly
tree
mulch
lizard
grass
owl statue (I wish we saw a real one!)
fence
clouds
Just a reminder: Every other Thursday we go to the library. This Thursday (10/11/12) we are scheduled to go to the library. Please make sure your child brings his/her books on this day. Your child will be able to return their books and check-out 2 more, which they can keep and enjoy at home until our next trip to the library on October 25th. Thanks!
